Summer Reading – Mary E Kingsley’s All The Pieces

This summer I really wanted to spend time with my family doing what I enjoy most. One of those things I enjoy doing but don’t get enough time to do is reading. Our camping trip this week allowed me to catch up on my summer reading list which included Mary E Kingsley’s new book called All The Pieces.

The story is a out life, birth, grief, loss and most of all love. Anna Lee is just an eight year old girl who has eyes like the harvest moon. She takes off fleeing from a painful scene when she shows up at a midwifed door. Who was this girl?

Along with Anna Lee’s story is a paralleled storytellers version. Anna Lee is faced with grief, loss, sadness and in those moments she finds answers to the questions in her heart. This little girl with gorgeous eyes and quite the past finally finds love and happiness. This story proves that sometimes there are stories from long ago that really are incredible, just consider some of the ones you’ve heard.

In so many ways this story personally hits home. A child with her own past filled with loss and love this story hits the heart in all the right places.

You can find Mary E Kingsley’s book All The Pieces for sale now on Amazon.com. I easily added it via Kindle on my iPhone and had easy reading on the go!
