Shopping Kids Back To School Style at Target #KidsGotStyle

Around the Home Everything Disney Our Family Journal Uncategorized

In just a few short weeks Kaila will start school and while I’m still in disbelief at the thought of having a third grader she’s been excitedly waiting to start the school year. This week we headed to Target with our Stylagram in hand for some added inspiration Kaila was more than eager to start shopping.

What she loved about our Stylagram were the bright colors and accessories. She took a little creative inspiration to do some shoe shopping and found that Target had boots and ballet flats on sale. It rains a lot here in Oregon so cute boots are a must for my stylish kiddo so she found stylish and comfortable boots that will keep her feet warm through the fall. She also found brightly colored jeans and since denim seems to be the big tread she found plenty of fashionable denim styles too. We also found all the artistic and unique back to school essentials like pencils, notebooks, and other supplies she will need.

Being my creative budding artist Kaila has quite the style. She’s very petite but likes color. She’s into science and math and really enjoys nature. You’ll find a lot of wild animals in her style and at Target she found an entire collection inspired by Disney’s Shake It Up. Paired with her new boots and brightly colored skinny jeans all she needs is her backpack and she’s ready for her first day of school!

Target also has so many backpacks and lunch bags and accessories and each year Kaila gets a new backpack and lunch bag. This year she opted for the bright animal print lunch tote with bento lunch accessories for inside.  Lunch bags are on sale at Target for only $9! Kaila had the hardest time picking a backpack. Last year she went with a messenger bag so this year she wanted to switch it up and really make a statement!

We spotted this polka dot denim top at Target and Kaila had to have it for a cool fall day. Kaila was able to easily find affordable back to school fashions that fit her own unique style. Whether creative and bright or calm and relaxed Target has a style for every kid.

Target will be featuring ordinary kiddos like mine with stylish back to school trends.   You can still submit your own photo of your child by uploading it to Instagram and tagging @Target and #KidsGotStyle.

I love it! She is too cute. I’m honestly having trouble with the fashions for girls this year. It’s all soooo 80s and just makes me cringe. But, I think Kaila’s choices are adorable and not over the top. You guys did well!

I love Target. We live there, for real. I get my clothes and so do my 2 little one’s and 2 of my teen girls. We haven’t finished back to school clothes shopping yet, but I can guarantee we will be hitting up Target when we do!
