Fun Foods for Families Lunch box school lunch ideas Uncategorized

Our family loves Cold Stone Creamery™ and in fact you’ll often find us at our local store in the evening after dinner for a great treat. Another one of our loves is coffee and we drink a lot of coffee around here. International Delight is always on our grocery list. So I was thrilled to see an entirely new collection of coffee creamers inspired by Cold Stone Creamery™ and our family decided to recreate one of our favorite ice cream sundaes. With new flavors like Cold Stone Creamery™ Hot for Cookie™, Cold Stone Creamery™ Founder’s Favorite™ and Cold Stone Creamery™ Churro Caramel it was easy to find inspiration!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 16 oz. container of International Delight Cold Stone Creamery™ Hot For Cookie™ Cookie Sundae Coffee Creamer
  • 1 TSP vanilla
  • 1/3 cup of mini chocolate chips (add to your liking)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

You will need an ice cream maker for this recipe so be sure to prep your ice cream make by it’s manufactures directions.  Since this ice cream recipe is very simple all you will need to do is combine the ingredients in a plastic bowl and mix together. You’ll want to refrigerate this mix to be sure it is as cold as possible.

Once the ice cream ingredients are cold add it to your ice cream maker and allow to cool for 35 minutes.

Once your ice cream has started to come together you will want to freeze your ice cream for another 10 hours to ensure it has hardened.  This recipe is a simple base and you could easily add graham crackers to create a smores ice cream or customize it any way you like.
