A Letter To My One Year Old – Happy Birthday Mia

You are here: Home / Uncategorized / Our Family Journal / A Letter To My One Year Old – Happy Birthday Mia

Our Family Journal Uncategorized

Dear Mia,

It all happened in just a blink, an entire year has passed us by. I remember at 25 weeks when the ultrasound told me about your hair, and boy she wasn’t kidding. Everywhere we go someone has something to say about it. You make the funniest faces and love music. You clap and dance whenever you hear music. Your dad says you remind him of Brooklin, and I agree. You just want to keep up with your big sisters. You have the prettiest blue eyes and are the sweetest baby.

This next year you will change, less and less will you be my baby and you will become my toddler. Well on your way to giving me an opinion about everything. I’ve learned that I don’t know what this next year of our life will bring but I want you to know how much joy you brought our family this past year. You are out little ray of sunshine always smiling and always silly.

I want you to know that in the next year I promise to let you explore and not hold you back. I promise to protect and nurture you. I promise to give you a million kisses and then some more! I promise to be the mom that you deserve and I will enjoy our next year together a little more and love you a little deeper. I promise to you that I will be more patient and kind and that I will always do my best to give you all of my heart.

I want you to know that I love the tiny person that you are and that I am so happy I get to be your mommy. I can’t wait as we both grow a little over this next year.

Happy 1st Birthday Mia!!

Love you always,

Mommy
