Mother’s Day Breakfast In Bed Idea – King’s Hawaiian Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe

You are here: Home / Fun Foods for Families / Mother’s Day Breakfast In Bed Idea – King’s Hawaiian Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe

Fun Foods for Families Lunch box school lunch ideas Uncategorized

In our family we love King’s Hawaiian, from after school mini sandwiches on our favorite Kin’s Hawaiian rolls to hotdogs off the grill in the summertime. I can find so many uses for King’s Hawaiian products and I decided to first start with pancakes. King’s Hawaiian rolls are so sweet I’ve been dying to create some fun breakfast recipes. What better way than enjoy pancakes.

Ingredients:

  • 9 King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup flour

I put all of the ingredients inside a blender and mix, you could also use a food processor. Once the rolls have absorbed the wet ingredients it will all blend together nicely.  We small simple small pancakes.

The pancakes were delicious! Any mom would love these on Mother’s Day!

Interesting twist, I never thought to use bread that was already baked to make pancakes. I personally love pancakes, we make breakfast for dinner at least once a week and its usually everyone’s first choice.

If these are as great as their rolls then these would be terrific pancakes. I love making buttermilk pancakes so I think I’d really enjoy these
