Easy Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes RecipeI like my fair share of potatoes and when you need an easy side dish to go along side a meal scalloped potatoes are one of my favorite things. Making them from scratch can take some time so  wanted to share a way that I like to easily cook my potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cut red potatoes or whatever kind of baking potatoes you have on hand
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups natural cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Romano cheese
  • 2 tbsp flour

First I started by cooking my potatoes in the milk.

Once you have softened your potatoes a little you’ll add in the cheddar cheese. I buy all natural cheddar cheese, it tastes the same as the yellow stuff but doesn’t have the food coloring.

Once my potatoes have thickened up a little I add in 2 tbsp of flour and pour into my baking dish and top with the ramano cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-20 minutes until golden brown.

So simple and delicious.

I’ve never tried it with Romano cheese but that’s a great idea. These look so good and I must say, potatoes are one of my favorite. Mashed and scalloped especially.
