wreckitralph4disccomboI have to say I think my husband was more excited about Wreck-It Ralph on 3D! The classic game turned into a movie has my kiddos thrilled!

In this movie Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy(R)-winning director Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons”, “Futurama”) take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in “Wreck-It Ralph”. Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”, “Stepbrothers”) is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, “30 Rock”), the “good guy” star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades of doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he’s tired of playing the bad guy in their game.

He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero. On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV’s “Glee”) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, “The Sarah Silverman Program”) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade.

This movie would be perfect in any kiddos Easter basket and would be a great addition to your family’s Disney movie collection. We received a copy of the 3D version and by far it’s quality is astounding. No one does 3D movie quite like Disney so the quality of the video will keep everyone on their toes. Talk about a family home theater!

THe sad part is that I bought this movie when it first came out on March 5, 2013, and we still haven’t watched it, along with some other movies, kinda sad that we are that busy to sit down as a family to watch a movie! So can’t wait to watch it though!

You will have fun. We love video games so my husband enjoyed pointing our characters from different old games.

I took my boys to the theatre to see this and we all loved it, maybe me more than them. It’s great to have kids and be able to take them to movies like this, I would feel silly going by myself. Both my boys have done really well at the theatre since they were 3 years old, back then all I had to do was sit a bowl of popcorn on their laps and they would sit and watch a 2 hour movie. We will definitely be seing this again on DVD!

Movies are great, and with Brooklin getting older, we may be able to bring her once in a while.

We loved this movie. In fact we did buy it and I think we have watched it another 3-4 times. I love that it’s a movie we all enjoy.
