Fun Foods for Families Uncategorized

In a quest to live a healthier and fuller whole body life I have recommitted myself to eating healthy. I want to show how eating healthy can also taste great. In a world of over processed foods we’re going back to the basics.I think the biggest thing when it comes to eating salads with dressings is making sure you follow the serving sizes if you use a bottle dressing.

Spinach Walnut Kiwi and Grape Salad With Avocado & Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 2cups organic spinach
  • 1/2 cup cut green organic grapes
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberry
  • 2 organic Kiwi chopped
  • 2 tbsp of your favorite poppy seed dressing

Simply mix it all together, the kiwi works so well with the sweet dried cranberry. This filling salad is best with the avocado and I like to mash up and mix the dressing with the avocado. It’s cool and sweet and yet savory, it’s my favorite new salad.

This looks good. I have to admit I do use too much bottled salad dressing on my salads. I would love to find one that is healthier and better for me that also tastes good. I will have to try your recipe.
