Our Family Journal Uncategorized

7 months old mia

This update is just a little late but a lot has been happening. So much that I have to write it all down. Mia is now 7 1/2 months old. Her favorite word is “dada” she also says “ba” and I think she’s saying Brooklin. Mia and Brooklin are the best of friends, Mia loves watching her and Brooklin loves being a big sister. She loves Kaila too don’t get me wrong but Brooklin and Mia spend their days playing. Mia also used t say “mama” but now she only says it when she wants me. HA! She’s such a daddy’s girl!

She is full on crawling now, shes practicing by pulling up on everything. I can see her standing on her own in a few months. She loves food and will make it known that she wants to try whatever you are eating. She likes everything! I made some angel hair pasta last night and cut it up and she just loved trying to get it in her mouth. She’s feeding herself and really likes food. We’re still breastfeeding but it’s nice that she also takes a bottle. I’ve gone away a few times now and she’s been just fine.

She refuses to sleep in her bed right now so you’ll find her napping on ours. She has also learned not to fall off the bed and stops if she’s on there.  Hubby and I are both saying we’re over the sideways sleeping baby in our bed and still every night we snuggle next to her and fall asleep. I can see us needed a bigger house soon!

Mia also has TWO teeth! Right on front on the bottom they came in at the same time. I remember when Brooklin went through her tongue out stage.

The best pictures I’m getting during the gloomy days are of her sleeping. She’s been sleeping a lot more lately. I’ll admit I’m taking full advantage of her long naps. mia sleeping 7 months old

Mia also sits up on her own. She started doing that i the past month. At Christmas she refused to sit down but now she likes it. You’ll find her sitting there exploring things. It’s been such a joy watching another one of my babies grow and learn. Seeing Mia grow into a little person is something I cherish most.
