Holiday Gift Guide: Books – Captain No Beard – An Imaginary Tale of a Pirate’s Life

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carole Roman for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Looking for a great gift for a kid I think books make great gift ideas.

One of the grest new books this season is Captain No Beard – An Imaginary Tale of a Pirate's Life. This new series of books will feature Captain No Beard.

Captain No Beard and his pirate ship the Flying Dragon set sail for the voyage of the imagination with his fearless crew of four: First Mate Hallie, Mongo the mast climbing monkey, Linus the loud mouthed lion, and Fribbit the floppy frog.

A wild romp though the high seas of joy and laughter, Carole P. Roman's debut is the ultimate answer to a rainy day or the perfect tale for an exhilarating story time that gets children connected to their limitless creativity. Captain No Beard has his own struggles as captain. It's a delightful story that will have your kids wanting more.

Carole P. Roman has garnered the coveted Kirkus Star of Merit for her first work and is hard at working on three more stories of Captain No Beard and his crew, a book about yoga for young children as well as a new series about different cultures around the world through a child's eye.

I think Captain No Beard – An Imaginary Tale of a Pirate's Life would be a great gift idea. Gifts for kids always encourage bonding time between parents and children.

I know my girls would love First Mate Hallie and even Mongo the Monkey who will keep us all laughing. Being the girl on the ship I know my 3 year old Brooklin would enjoy First Mate Hallie. She's very helpful just like Brooklin even when things get scary First Mate Hallie keeps her cool.

This entertaining story would be a great stocking stufer, or even a gift for a teacher.

This sounds like a great book and would make a great gift for my son and grandson this month for a B-day gift 🙂
