Building Your Kid’s Confidence With ACT For Kids #ACTKids

It is important to both my husband and I that our children practice having good oral hygiene. Having a healthy smile is not only important for health but it also affects how you feel about yourself. As a child I had crooked teeth and while my friends got braces I did not. I wanted that bright pretty smile and I know a lot of other children have flt the same way. Having a healthy smile makes you feel better about yourself! I can always tell when my children have not brushed, their smiles whiten and just look and feel healthy.

One of the products to help your child keep their smile healthy is ACT.  Kids love ACT for Kids because it is easy to use, it tastes great, and has fun characters.  Moms love ACT for Kids because it makes the oral care process easier and supports better dental checkups.  With ACT for Kids teeth are strengthened up to two times stronger and cavities are reduced by up to 40%. My child has had healthy check ups each dentist visit and using products like ACT for Kids is just another way I help my children be successful and create healthy habits.

My child’s dentist also told me to add more fluoride into my dental routine and theirs. ACT fluoride rinses and mouthwashes prevent cavities, rebuild tooth enamel, and strengthen teeth.  ACT Anticavity Kids rinses are the segment leader, providing kids ages 6-12 with trusted fluoride protection. Plus my kiddos think it’s fun!

Fun activities to keep kids brushing:

  • Decorate the bathroom mirror to frame your children’s views as they stand in front of the sink. Or, place a mirror at their level so they can watch themselves in the ACT® of oral care.  Download and Print Picture Frames (color) or Picture Frames (b/w)
  • Offer incentives or certificates for a job well done. Then, chart the progress on an activity sheet to show how well your child keeps up with his or her oral care routine.  Download and Print ACT Brushing / Rinsing Progress Chart and ACT Perfect Rinsing Award
  • Let your children decorate toothbrushes, rinse cups or hand towels so they’ll have their own personal tools to use for their hygiene routine.
  • Offer your children flavored dental products. Toothpastes and fluoride rinses come in many kid-friendly varieties and offer a sweet treat for a clean mouth. BubbleGum BlowOut™, Ocean Berry Rinse featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, and iBerry Blast Rinse featuring iCarly are rinse flavors that taste great and might and might tickle your children’s taste buds.

When your child has a healthy smile, he/she will smile more and be more confident.  You’ll feel great knowing that you’re doing a great job.  Celebrate this feeling with a $1-off coupon from ACT for Kids!

I love ACT for Kids and so does my son. Bad teeth run in my family so I make it a point to make sure my kids are brushing and flossing like they should and that they know how important it is. I love your fun activity ideas to help keep kids brushing.
