Everything Disney Our Family Journal Uncategorized

We had such a fun Halloween. The house was decorated and there were kids all over the neighborhood. Since this was Mia’s first Halloween she got to have a little fun too.

Mia got to explore a flower which she wasn’t sure about.

The girls all had fun getting dressed up. Kaila decided to be Jasmine.

Brooklin decided to be Tiana. Naturally of course. Her favorite princess.

Mia’s costume was a tiny pumpkin.

The three girls.

The coolest house on the block had a faux castle front on it complete with two evil Disney witches. The girls just loved it and I have to say, hats off to them for making it so special for all of the children in the neighborhood. It made our night to visit their house.

Marley took a ride on the front of the stroller and everyone thought he was cute in his devil costume.

It was a fun night. I was however shocked to find that we had something stolen from our front porch. There were a lot of children, my husband actually said there were kids in no costumes. Next year we will have a costume only rule and I will buy a lot more candy. I totally under estimated how many children and people would come to our neighborhood. It seemed that people were even driving in and parking here to trick or treat and they lucked out too, everyone had bags stuffed with candy!

We decided that we’d go home and enjoy passing out the candy so that is exactly what we did until the candy ran out and the lights went off. I let the girls eat as much candy as they wanted for 15 minutes and then sent them off to bathe and get to bed. Being Halloween was on a school night this year we had an early night.
