Potty Training: Gerber Childrenswear Training Pants

You are here: Home / Things We Use Reviews / baby stuff / Potty Training: Gerber Childrenswear Training Pants

baby stuff

I once thought that potty training my 3 year old would be so difficult until I drove right in. We used our last pack of diapers and I knew if I used potty training diapers she wouldn’t get the concept. She needed something that was like underwear, but I wanted a little extra protection just in case of accidents.  Gerber Childrenswear training pants are comfortable for wearing all day and night, and are specially designed to help kids easily pull them up and down by themselves.

We were sent these training pants to review and I think they’re great for those kiddos learning to potty train. They have an extra little pad inside that will absorb if there is an accident. I personally think they’re great for overnight or for long car trips. My 3 year old has had a few accidents mostly when she’s playing for long periods of time or at night. These training pants are the best of both worlds and I don’t have to go back to using potty training diapers. They come in cute designs and look and feel just like undies!

The product features:

  • Soft cotton inside and outside
  • Built-in, absorbent interlining for extra protection throughout the day
  • A soft covered elastic waistband for increased comfort
  • Durable, washable and reusable for multiple uses
  • 100% cotton panels with an absorbent interlining
  • Machine washable

You can buy Gerber Childrenswear online or in retail stores. These training pants come in packs of 2.

I like using these instead of using the disposable pull up products. Using these still gives the lil ones comfort and idea they are wearing undies and not “diapers” and these are cheaper to use as well.

My 2 kids are grown now and when they were toddlers transitioning from diapers to underwear, I put Gerber’s training underwear on them. They only came in white back then and they were perfect. When my 1st granddaughter was ready to begin using underpants, I was so happy to find that Gerber still made these training pants and found that they came in colors. Now my 2nd granddaughter is ready to use these and I will get some in the colorful prints. It is so nice to find a brand that still makes high quality products for children. 🙂
