Mia’s First Bath

You are here: Home / Uncategorized / Our Family Journal / Mia’s First Bath

Our Family Journal Pet Life

After everyone has been swooning over Mia for the past few days she’s been loving it. Her skin, not so much so after seeing her skin start to break out we knew today was the perfect day for her first bath. Our hospital had a number of really great standards and procedures and submerging the cord does not pose an actual risk according to them so we were told to bathe her normally.

Like all newborns she cried.

But she really liked the water being poured over her. She stopped fussing when she had the water on her skin.

After her bath of course she had to get dressed. Her hair really fluffed up showing off just how long it is. I can still remember both Brooklin and Kaila’s first bath which we documented both with videos and pictures. Except this time around it was all 5 of us gathered around for her very first, first.

A girl must look good after a bath.

Did your other daughters have this much hair? My youngest granddaughter had hair like hers and see is almost 3 now and her hair is down to her butt. Most people think she is older than she is because of the long hair. She didn’t lose a bit of her baby hair like most do. Wondered if you had this much hair with the other girls? She is just a picture perfect baby!

She is just so adorable. You might want to try the Tummy Tub, it was the only way Emma liked to bathe as a newborn. Her little body submerged in the water and she was calm as can be.
