Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes Unveils New Senior Special

Family Travel With Kids

With the cost of living continuing to soar, very often the hardest hit are seniors living on a fixed income. According to a Bankers Life and Casualty Company survey, 70 percent of middle-class boomers fear they won’t have enough cash to last through retirement. Too often, this fear leads seniors to make the decision to sacrifice better nutrition with fruits and vegetables for cheaper, less nutritional staples. But Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes wants to change that and help seniors living on a fixed income enjoy an affordable, nutritious meal.

Beginning April 9, all restaurants will offer seniors age 60+ an all-you-care-to-eat meal for only $6.99, Monday thru Thursday from 2-5 p.m. The price even includes a beverage! So for $6.99, guests age 60+ will be able to enjoy a bounty of healthful options along the restaurant’s more than 45-foot salad bar and also the soup, pasta, fruit and dessert stations all of which feature options for every dietary consideration including vegan, vegetarian, omnivore and even gluten-free. Plus, with a rotating monthly menu, guests will experience new and delicious options each month.

Our family just loves Sweet Tomatoes and we were so happy that we were given the chance to take our our senior family member to dinner where we all ate a great meal for a great price!

We don’t have a Souplantation or Sweet Tomatoes restaurant here but what a great thing for them to do. Would be nice if more restaurants through out the country would do the same thing 🙂
