Earth Day Recipe: Potted Flower Garden Dirt Cup

You are here: Home / Fun Foods for Families / Earth Day Recipe: Potted Flower Garden Dirt Cup

Fun Foods for Families

It’s almost Earth Day and we’re looking for ways to celebrate. I thought a traditional dirt cup seemed fitting enough for Earth Day but I wanted to do something truly fun and unique for or family. Something we could put as the centerpiece of the table while we eat our Earth Day dinner.

I started with a simple sugar cookie recipe and made flower shaped cookies.

I bought a blue flower pot at my local garden store and made a basic chocolate pudding. Essentially making a giant dirt cup.

I simply decorated the flowers and placed them on skewers. I added crushed cookies and gummy worms to the top.

To serve: simply spoon pudding into bowls with flower cookies.

Thanks to my sister Amanda from Mommy Mandy who gave me the idea.
