We often play board games as a family but our youngest kiddo is so often left out. She mostly can’t understand the concept of board games let alone have the patience to actually play. This year an all new board game was introduced at the toy fair designed specifically for toddlers. We were sent the new Roll & Play Board Game from ThinkFun. Brooklin was so thrilled when she found out it was a game that was just for her, and Kaila happily played the game with her all afternoon.

The game comes with a soft cotton cube and a set of colored cards. Little ones simply roll the cube and pick up the card that corresponds with the color on the cube. On the card you will find easy instructions like “bark like a dog” “dance a silly dance” and make a number of silly faces.

The game was fun enough to keep both girls entertained and easy enough for Brooklin to actually play. Once the whole family got involved it was just fun and laughter. As a parent I like that the game is also teaching her colors, shapes, and continuing to work on counting and other fine motor skill development.

You can now find Roll & Play online and it is made for kiddos age 10 months and up!
