Summer Sunrise Smoothie Recipe – #FloridaOJ #cbias

Fun Foods for Families Uncategorized

It’s so dreary in the Pacific Northwest that we’re trying anything to perk up and feel the sunshine. With summer just around the corner I really wanted to create a fun bright smoothie recipe that would be perfect on hot summer days or brighten up a dreary one. You can see my entire shop on my Google+ album.  My main ingredient in this smoothie is Florida Orange Juice and I think you’ll love this sweet treat!

My main goal of this recipe way to look around my home and see what I had on hand. We always keep orange juice in the house even more so during flu season but it’s such a great way to start the day. I wanted the recipe to be easy and fun and something you could easily change up if you wanted and needed to.

I am a huge smoothie fan. Problem is I tend to throw everything in the blender – berries, juice, milk, ice, bananas… it’s good but I think it’s too much! I think I am going to try to keep it simple from now on and just use one or two fruits like you have done here. Thanks for the tip.

Yum! Looks refreshing! I think I’ll try it with some almond milk and a banana instead of the sugar and milk.
