Looking for that last minute gift or idea or been thinking about getting yourself and your loved one a set of smartphones, HTC and Verizon have teamed up with an idea by “his and hers” phones for Valentine’s Day!
The HTC Rezound is a great choice because of its fast processing speed, Android Gingerbread operating system, 8 megapixel camera and large 4.3 inch true 720p HD screen. And to top it Verizon’s 4G LTE network make it a device for getting things done and keeping in touch.
But what also sets the Rezound apart from other smartphones is the fact it’s the only smartphone in the U.S. powered by Beats Audio. What makes it even better is every HTC Rezound includes a set of Beats ear buds, a $100 value, giving some of the best possible sound and fit possible. They include a few ear buds of different sizes and shapes for comfort.
The 4.3 inch LCD HD display makes this phone perfect for music, games, media lovers, and all others. But what smartphone is complete without a camera. The Rezound packs an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, plus enhanced camera features such as a panoramic mode and action burst, are both great to capture those special moments of joy and surprise.
For the techs specs, they include:
- 1.5 GHz dual-core processor
- Qualcomm® 1.5 GHz dual-core processor
- Android Gingerbread + HTC Sense
Verizon Wireless lightning-fast 4G LTE network
- 16 GB onboard memory,
1 GB DDR2 RAM
- Included 16 GB microSD card
- 4.3″ super LCD screen, true 720p HD
- 8 MP with auto focus, f/2.2, 28mm wide-angle lens, 2 x LED flash; 2 MP front-facing camera, 1080p video recorder
The companion choice is the plum (the review unit I had was a pink model) colored HTC Rhyme. A small, lightweight, and stylish phone, it is smaller and comes with a 5 megapixel camera and 3.7-inch touch screen with 480 x 800 resolution. It is equipped with the Android 2.3 OS and a 1 GHz processor and is great for keeping in touch and surfing the net. It also has DLNA for wirelessly streaming media from your phone to your TV or computer.
The great thing about the HTC line of phones is something called HTC Sense. This is a system inside the phone that adds HTC apps and customization. The HTC Rhyme is setup out the box to display your most commonly used applications right up front. Icons on your desktop have a slide out tab that gives you a quick glimpse into your calendar, messages, mail, photos and more.
HTC Rhyme’s accessories include a wireless Bluetooth headset and tangle-free headphones along with a charging dock which turns your smartphone into an alarm clock, calendar, and micro music center with its built in high powered, clear sounding speaker. It also has a notification charm which lights up notifying the user of missed calls, texts and voicemails. The charm is great for those who keep their phones not on them.
Both are available on line and at any Verizon dealer. Check them out.
