We own an Apple iPad 2, and I can say that the SpringBoard compares in build and quality, but give us a tablet with Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS which is awesome. The Springboard comes equipped with a Qualcomm 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 16 GB of internal memory with the option of expanding by another 32 GB of memory. It has a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and 720p HD video recorder. It has a HDMI output for 1080p output to a HD screen and a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo Bluetooth 2.1. It supports T-Mobiles 4G, 3G and EDGE networks and has 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.

The SpringBoard may be smaller buts it bright and very crispy 7 inch display do o problem providing clear quality. Plus its smaller size makes it great for travel use around the house and out and about. Unlike its bigger competitors it can fit in a lot more places and compared to the iPad 2, it uses Android which I prefer. I am very happy with this tablet and I also like the built in 4g/3g connection, which our iPad 2 is WiFi only. And T-Mobile service can be purchased on a contractual basis or purchased on a month-by-month or as-needed basis which is convenient for those who travel. It is rated for 7 hours of continuous use and 12 days of standby time. This will depend on what you use, and display and sound settings.

This is a great gift idea or choice for a tablet. Its solid build, and high quality aluminum body, make it feel solid and reliable. Its colorful and rich graphics make it a great choice to consider for your next tablet purchase
