For those windows fans and users of Microsoft the new T-Mobile HD7 Windows Phone 7 operating system is something that may be of your interest. It is like having your windows based home PC in your pocket with its easy access to Microsoft Exchange e-mail and calendar, along with virtual access to programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, OneNote and SharePoint Workspace.

The HD7 features a vibrant 4.3 inch display and the large virtual keyboard both the biggest for for any Windows based Phone in the U.S. This is great for viewing media of any type and playing games and for watching videos bought off the Zune or viewed on Netflix. T-Mobile TV is also neat because it offers access to live and on-demand TV and includes free access to programs from ABC News NOW, FOX Sports, PBS Kids, Azteca America, family holiday movie favorites and more. Other applications include radio and music such as Slacker radio which is has a wide selection of music with more than 130 channels of genres.

The HD7 runs on T-Mobiles super-fast mobile broadband network and is equipped with a Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon processor for power and graphics. The HTC HD7 includes GPS with access to turn-by-turn navigation from TeleNav GPS Navigator Internet Explorer 8, 16 GB of internal memory, HD video recording, and an a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash.

For those gamers and anyone who enjoys some flashy entertainment, Microsoft has made it easy to access your Xbox live account and keep in contact with your friends online. Microsoft also has a library of quality games on the Microsoft marketplace. Here is some recent info from Engadet.

The Windows Phone 7 uses Live Tiles which are live animated tiles allowing the user to see what is going on without having to open an application which great for those who like to maximize their time. It does take some getting used to but is another way Microsoft is working to change the smartphone experience. Windows Phone Hubs brings together applications, content, and other related products and services into a single simplified view allowing easy syncing to music, contacts, pictures, and any other files from virtually anywhere.

The HTC HD7 also includes T-Mobile Family Room which is a new application designed to help families keep in touch by allowing everyone to write a note on a virtual chalkboard and share calendar events between them all. There is also blazing fast picture sharing and real-time notifications to alert when others post.

The HD7 is a windows based phone that has something new to offer to smartphone users.

I previously had the HTC HD2 and I loved that phone!! There were a few things I ended up disliking it for and the HD7 replaces all those problems that I had with the HD2. They fixed the HD2 and just made it that much better by adding Windows 7.

I have this phone and love it though it dies very quickly – probably have too many emails hooked up to it! Also, I changed my color layout to pink – love, love, love!

How do you get to be a brand ambassador Kristin? I did a review for them awhile back but it was just a loaner. I love my Samsung Galaxy S but it would be fun to promote t-mobile since we are on their plan! 🙂
