Our #SearsRealCheer Outdoor Decor – Decorating Our New Home!

It’s not often you find a home that’s just perfect for your family. A small community with amenities and an HOA that’s not going to dictate everything you do. We found that place and finally moved into our first home! It’s beautiful really and on top of it all we’re staying here in Oregon this year for Christmas. See every year we drive 2,000 miles from home to spend Christmas with my parents. Not this year! Our very first Christmas at home with our family and we finally decided with a new home and the fact that we would be staying here it’s time to decorate the house! We went and bought a number of decor items from our local Sears and wanted to show off the final product. It’s funny because shortly after our decor was up last week our neighbors all started with their decor too!

First we started with the giant snowman and my two year old attempted to help my husband put it together. We bought the stockings on sale at Sears last year so we put those up while the assembly of the snowman happened. Once we got the snowman put together my husband hung the garland.

After putting out the snowman rug and other snowman decor on the front porch we added a few other decor items of our own. The LEDS were on sale at Sears for only $20.00 on Black Friday so we picked up a few extra packs for our own decor. I just love how the garland turned out and because they are battery operated and LEDS they last a long time. It makes them versatile and able to be hung where there is no place to plug them in.

All in all it turned out really well and the house looks really great. We spent $200 total on decor but got a lot for our money. Right now at Sears there’s some additional deals you can find. Get an additional $5 off $50 through Sears Real Cheer. You’ll also find other great Christmas decor ideas. I’m personally eyeing the LED lights that are per-programmed to move. I just love all the tree and decor ideas as well so check out Sears Real Cheer. Show off your outdoor too with Sears Real Cheer.
