14 Weeks Pregnant – First Belly Shot

You are here: Home / Uncategorized / Our Family Journal / 14 Weeks Pregnant – First Belly Shot

Our Family Journal

So at 14 weeks the uterus is just barely past the pelvic bones but I at least wanted a picture for a starting point.I’m finally in my second trimester which means I’m just starting to feel pregnant. I often feel the baby against the side of my belly, not feeling kicks yet but I can feel it squished against the side of my tummy. Morning sickness has finally passed expect for a little bit here and there in the morning. I’m finally starting to feel like I can start running again without the thought making me want to hurl so I plan on fitting in more workouts and running a few miles each day at the gym.

I didn’t do much exercise during my last pregnancy and want to be healthy this time. I’d like to also have a painfree birth this time around and have the baby totally naturally. I’m willing to work for this goal and feel exercise and staying healthy is the way I can achieve it.   I’ve worked really hard this past year to lose 60 pounds and I don’t plan on going back to the place where I was.

Here I am, all 14 weeks of me. My starting point.

You’re just as tiny can be. Congrats!

I’m impressed that you keep running throughout your pregnancy. I am 23 weeks pregnant w/ baby #3 and I’m trying to get out to walk every day…but no running until after baby is born.
