The Great Christmas Tree Hunt Of 2011

You are here: Home / Uncategorized / Our Family Journal / The Great Christmas Tree Hunt Of 2011

Our Family Journal

It’s that time of year again and our family decided to hit our local tree farm a week earlier than we normally do. I’m hosting Thanksgiving this year and wanted to decorate before family arrives. Plus to be honest, I really need a place to stack all these gifts. HA!

It wasn’t too long before we found our perfect tree so to lay claim to our perfect tree we took a picture in front.

And then my husband chopped it down and it was time to bring it home.

We have our tree! Now time to decorate.

My Christmas village a new collection/obsession.

Tis’ the season!

Wish we had a tree farm like that here. What a great holiday memory that is for the kids.

I love looking for the perfect tree! We wait until after Thanksgiving because the heater in the house dries the tree out… so it doesn’t make it to New Year’s if we start early. But I can not wait until we get to go!!! Your pics are great, and so’s the tree. Happy Holidays!

That’s a great tree that you picked! I love that you will have everything decorated for the Thanksgiving holiday! There is no way we’d be able to be that organized to have Thanksgiving ready and be decorated for Christmas, kudos to you! Have a great holiday!
