I decided to give this product a try during the next oil change on our higher mileage Honda CRV. I have always used a fuel injector cleaner on any car, even when brand new. Fuel injectors build up a carbon deposit that will eventually cause problems down the road. By keeping them clean especially when new or newer is the best way to reduce future buildup and possible hesitation and problems. I usually stick with a large chain auto store because they have wide access to parts and many parts on hand. Plus many have deals and AutoZone has a reward program, which I do take advantage of. Whenever visiting any auto parts store be sure to check what deals they have because many times they offer top quality products for normal quality prices which is a great way to get premium motor oil. I like to bring my oldest because she is inquisitive into how things works and it is important to teach her the importance of maintenance.
With the winter months coming up it is important to maintain your vehicles, from small to large. We garage one car but one car is parked in the driveway and has next to freezing cold starts every day. The cold temperatures are very hard on cars and it is important to make sure fluids are up to par and parts that need to be replaced are fixed. It is not worth the hassle later down and on the road.
Be sure to check those lights, wipers, and tire pressures, rubber boots on CV axles, brakes, and fluid change intervals. Other important parts to maintain are ignition systems parts, brake fluid, suspension systems, and of course those tires. It is better to be on top of these to avoid failure leading to possible harm and damage or just a breakdown on the road during the wrong time.
