My Black Friday Finds

You are here: Home / Everything Disney / My Black Friday Finds

Everything Disney Uncategorized

Oh yes, I braved the rain and the crowds and went Black Friday shopping. Starting with our local shopping center which started at 9. Traffic was horrible but we managed to use or nav and go around and found a parking spot right near the front. The first of our luck for the night. We went to quite a few stores and before we knew it midnight was upon us. Our next stop the mall, Toys R Us and a try at Best Buy.  We found some deals at Toys R Us but found that the deal we really wanted was at 5am so we went to the mall. The mall was packed, I honestly was surprised by the sheer amount of people who were just walking around and not buying anything. I guess what else is there to do, right?

My husband and I had $700 with us and a $400 budget. We spent $400 on all of this.

We ended up getting back to Toys R Us for that deal I had wanted and my husband dropped me off as I fastly walked to what I was looking for. They were gone! This adorable Disney Princess carriage set that had everything for Brooklin’s baby dolls. I had wanted to get her a set for her baby doll and this deal was just too good. Originally $100 on sale at 5AM for $30. Also a Littlest Pet Shop playset that I had seen at midnight and swore if I found it again when we came back I’d get it for Kaila. Also stopped by the Lego’s all the deals at midnight were gone but got the very last set at 5AM.

I happened to walk out of the area where we were looking for the Disney playset disapointed they were all gone where I happened to see one. Sitting at the end of the isle where someone had left it. SCORE! Also got one of the last Little Pet Shop Sets and found the Dora dress up trunk in a random cart that was left from someone at WalMart.

Carter’s entire store was 60% off. Got 5 outfits including the cute white suit for the new baby, and an outfit for Brooklin. Also found they had wooden puzzles for $5 a piece at the counter so we got one for each kid.

Jammies for the girls and undies for Brooklin.

Got my hubby a full size cologne from Calvin Klieen, a shirt and some additional under shirts. From the Gap I found jeans for him, two shirts, and a pair of white skinny jeans for Brooklin and a hat for her stocking. Got more Craftsmna tools at Sears and my own personal find sent to me from Victoria’s Secret. All bras were buy one get one half off so I bought the $60 bra I really wanted. With my additional coupon that I got from VS I got an additional $10 off bras. I also scored a free panty another deal card sent to me and got 6 pairs of undies.

My FREE FINDS!

Super model tote for spending more than $65 at Victoria’s Secret, inside it has perfume and lotion. FREE toolbag for buying tools at Sears.

Total spent: $400 cash!

Crowds weren’t bad, the longest line was at Victoria’s Secret which was a 20 minute wait. We also found a parking place easily at every store and only dealt with traffic once. All in all it was a very wonderful night!

Oh my gosh, you did great! I’m so jealous, haha. I think I have to wait until my kids are older (my twins are only a year old) before I’m brave enough to venture out of the house on Black Friday. 🙂

Wow, you really got some good stuff! I didn’t spend too much this year, less than $200 but we still have some shopping to do and will probably just take care of it last minute.
