It’s never easy moving. Since my husband and I got together almost 9 years ago we’ve lived only in a few places. Each one has it’s own memories, it’s own smells, and special feelings. We moved in our current home when I was pregnant with Brooklin. It was a nice step up from our previous luxury apartment living, luxury it was but it was still an apartment.
So we moved into this condo and Kaila started ballet and school at a local learning academy. She then went into preschool and shortly after Brooklin was born. I can’t even express how many memories these walls hold, how much laughter, how many tears. So many great times were had here. I’ll never forget the last time I saw my mother in law in my living room or how Brooklin got into so much trouble in her yearly toddler years.
I’ll never forget this home. It holds way too many wonderful memories but it’s time for us to move on. To make new memories and fill a new home with laughter. I’m ready for this next step in our life.
Remember this?
Moving is not my favorite thing to do. I hope your move is going well.
that is an adorable pic congrats on the new home!
Hope you enjoy your new home! 🙂
That is exactly how I felt moving in Aug. So many amazing memories we built in the 3 years we lived “down the street” so many wonderful memories, and sad, laughter and tears. and watching Sarah turn from a baby to a child. Sam started Kinder in that house. I never did a post like this and I should have.
I’m still sad sometimes because I just loved that house, but it was time to move forward and start new memories, although this house is just temporary, it’s like our “half way” house until we start our new chapter next year in Texas.
Change is always hard but you will do good. You always have.
I hope your move is seamless! It’s overwhelming, but also exciting isn’t it? Get settled in and really enjoy re-nesting your new place!!
moving is always exciting, i’ve moved so many times now that i get antsy if i’m in one place too long
