Disney’s D-Lightful Living – Growing Stronger With Disney

You are here: Home / Everything Disney / Disney’s D-Lightful Living – Growing Stronger With Disney

Everything Disney Uncategorized

Your child is growing stronger and becoming more active. With this increased activity comes the inevitable playtime bumps and bruises. Come to the rescue the next time a boo-boo brings on the tears with the help of Disney inspired products.

Try these tips to help keep your kids smiling when a bump or bruise occurs:

  • If your child gets hurt, be sure to explain how you’re helping each step of the way – knowing what is going on can bring him or her comfort.
  • Ask your kids what their favorite Disney character would do favorite Disney characters when they aren’t feeling well. It might even bring out a giggle!
  • Let me have something special a granola bar, or snack that they can pick out.

Boo boos are no stranger in our house, and the one thing that always makes my girls feel better is picking out their own Band-Aid. A scraped knee at the playground? Band-Aid has it covered! Help the hurt disappear with Mickey- and Phineas & Ferb-inspired Band-Aid bandages. My secret boo boo weapon is Kobayashi Fever Relief Ice Patches. They allow me to chase the pain away and reduce swelling from bumps and bruises with a familiar friendly face, Mickey Mouse! For ice packs we use Boo Boo Buddy Reusable Cold Packs so next time your tot takes a tumble, grab one of these Disney·Pixar Cars-themed cold packs and put the pain on ice!

What are some ways you inspire your growing kids to stay physically active, especially when the TV beckons?

Every week join the conversation over at the Disney D-Lightful Living on Facebook page, theres also weekly giveaways on the Facebook page! And for the ultimate grand prize, a trip for four to a special Disney Magic of Healthy Living event at a Disney resort! My children are wonderful about being physical instead of sitting around watching tv. Granted, like all kids they like to play video games. But my son loves playing outside with his friends…they’re always bicycling around the neighborhood & throwing the football around! And he also takes karate classes at least 3 times each week. My daughter is a swimmer, and practices 2 hours each day & often has meets on the weekends!

i get my daughter to stay active by not subscribing to cable. Then she doesn’t have the option of sitting around all day watching tv

My kids love all the Disney characters and I’m sure a band-aid whith their faces will help a lot when they’re hurt 🙂

I just love the Mickey Mouse band aid tin–mine would want one even if they didn’t have a boo boo at the moment. As for the TV beckoning–just turn it off. Just don’t leave the TV on all the time. Play some music, if you need background sound.
