Everything Disney Girls Clothing Fashion & Beauty

I often struggle with the fact that my oldest daughter is getting older. She wants to wear lipgloss and nail polish but I wonder what’s too soon. Girls will be girls, which means sooner or later your little lady will want to begin experimenting with make-up. Disney-inspired make-up offers magic and whimsy to inspire girls while offering safe, age-appropriate products moms can trust.

Check out the tips below on ways to help your kids develop age-appropriate beauty habits:

  • Let your daughter experiment with different clothes and makeup and always communicate with her during the process.
  • Stay connected with your children as they figure out their personal style.
  • Take a moment each day and let your child know how you feel about them– give positive reinforcement about the child as a person.

Kristin, you are VERY right- experimenting and communicating while doing it is so important. I also believe that giving that positive reinforcement now in their beauty will only help them make the right choices when they are older. Thank you for telling us about this.

This would be such fun for my girly-girl grand-daughter. She also is special from the inside, because she makes A’s, has reading and Math skills well above her grade-level, is a righteous gamer (thanks to her aunt, my daughter!) and is becoming a pianist.

My daughter is a tween- its crazy to even write that! Anyway, I really let her express herself through her style- she watches Shake it Up on Disney and loves the way the girls dress. She also has always been a fan of a good manicure 🙂 When she gets a good report card I will usually take her to get a spa pedicure and manicure with me as a treat.
