We took the girls to see the Cars 2 in the theater and it was so much fun. I love how Disney brought back our favorite characters and added a few more. This fast-paced adventure that mixes espionage and road racing after Lightening gets done with his season of racing. He’s left with little to do so they wind up on a world wide adventure racing overseas. The Pixar artists clearly had a lot of fun spoofing locations in Tokyo, London, Paris, and the Italian Riviera, and creating auto versions of sumo wrestlers, kabuki actors, Queen Elizabeth II, and a doting Italian mother. Lightening Maqueen was going to win it all but the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. It was funny and cute and my girls had a great time with this movie!
