Carapelli Olive Oil – Taste Test

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carapelli for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I enjoy bread and pasta, it’s pretty much a staple in our house so I’m always trying to find a good olive oil. We recently had a chance to do a taste test with Carapelli’s Olive Oil. We did a taste test that was somewhat like coffee testing. Using the four S tasting method I went through the steps of Swirl, Sniff, Slurp and Swallow.

First with the swirl you could see the oil swishing around and with the sniff test it smelled so good. It smells smooth and clean a little buttery and soft. It smelt and looked great. I love knowing how thick it is and just how smooth and and aromatic it is. Then you slurp to taste the oil and while I generally don’t like the idea of slurping oil it doesn’t taste bad. It’s something I want to put on my food, and once you swallow it’s not that bad. In fact, I loved taste testing the oil.

You too can check out the new line of oils from Carapelli right now on their website. You can also get a $1.00 OFF coupon at www.CarapelliUSA.com

What do you like about olive oil? Is it also the one you cook with the most?

yes, it’s what I use for almost everything! thanks for the taste test. I usually buy what’s on sale since I go through it so fast but some brands are definitely not worth buying at all.
