Suzuki Mom Fest – The Daily Blarg #SuzukiMomFest

Kristin was nice enough to allow me to take her place on a recent trip to St. Charles, IL to meet with Suzuki Auto.  #SuzukiMomFest was a whirlwind of fun and information that could have only been made better if Kristin herself were there.  I know what you are thinking… Suzuki makes cars?  Why yes they do.  I was a little surprised myself.  But thankfully it was a very pleasant surprise.

It’s easy to see how St. Charles was chosen as the number ONE city for families by Family Circle Magazine.  It also makes perfect sense why Suzuki Auto chose St. Charles as one of the stops on their Kizashi Kicks Road Show.   We had a chance to take a scenic drive through the tree lined streets and picturesque farmland that is along the Fox River.  Not to mention the beautiful (straight out of a movie) downtown district where we stayed.

I created a (what was supposed to be short but since I am super long winded turned into a mini-documentary) video tour of the Suzuki Kizashi.  I tried to highlight the features that moms, especially moms with little ones, would love.  And trust me… There are TONS.  It isn’t their only vehicle as Suzuki has several fun models to offer.  But it was the one I “connected” with… you could say.

But before you get to listen to my musical voice for countless minutes I wanted to share something I know Kristin and her loyal readers find important.  Suzuki has been given an above average rating by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (source: NHTSA).  And they recently introduced the Kizashi EcoCharge Hybrid Concept.  How cool is that?  A fun sporty sedan created by a company that is making positive eco-friendly changes.

Have fun taking a little tour around the Kizashi with me:

Stephanie Hansen left the corporate world 5 years ago to focus on her true love, chauffeuring, also known as, raising two teenagers. Her spare time is spent reading, cooking, eating, blogging, tweeting, watching trashy reality TV, and cuddling up in her Snuggie while wearing a BumpIt.

Stephanie is not creative and doesn’t like chocolate, but makes up for that in the amount of Diet Coke she consumes. She loves unicorns, glitter, and all things that add a little magic to life.  Oh…she is married to her main Asian squeeze and has a Papillon named Hoffy.

Mmm.. that is a nice looking little car. I will have to do a little more research on it. Wish we were in a place for a car, but I think we have to think more minivan right now. 🙂
