Disney D-Lightful Living – Eat More Fruits and Veggies

You are here: Home / Everything Disney / Disney D-Lightful Living – Eat More Fruits and Veggies

Everything Disney Fun Foods for Families

Many kids don’t get enough fruits and vegetables in their diet, but parents can turn the tide. Instill a penchant for produce in your kids with the help of this lineup of products featuring Disney characters. One of my favorite things to do for playdates is to create fun fruit cups. Fruit is great for kids because it gives them plenty of natural sugars which they easily play off during our playdates.

I especially love this Edible Arrangements Mickey Mouse bouquet, we tried this Mickey themed basket for a recent playdate and just love how fun the fruit is. These unique fruit arrangements boast fresh pineapple, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe and honeydew arranged in keepsake Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Disney Princess-themed carry-all containers. Try one of these “bouquets” at your child’s next birthday party and see how surprisingly festive fruit can be for kids!

This week I’ve been challenged to see how much additional fruits and veggies I can get into my kids with everyday fun snacks. Whether the day calls for a healthy snack or a mini-meal, Foodles are the perfect choice and our new family favorite. The interesting combinations of fruits, veggies and sides like dips, raisins, crackers or cheese are easily transportable. Plus, the fun Mickey-shaped trays featuring colorful images of Mickey Mouse characters promise your little ones will “d-lite” in snacking on Foodles.

Top of lunch bags with Brother’s All natural Fruit Crisps, Juicy Juice and Disney themed Tummy Ticklers. My kids just love the Tummy Tickler’s these delicious apple and fruit juice drinks sport more than 30 different toppers ranging from classic Mickey & Friends to “Toy Story” characters. They’re the perfect solution to encourage kids to incorporate more fruit into their diets.

It’s not just the food that keeps kids excited about lunchtime.  Help animate their snacks and keep things fresh with bags and ice packs featuring their favorite Disney characters. We just love the Disney themed Insignia Sandwich Bags, Snack Bags, Lunch Bags and Ice Packs, perfect for keeping kids happy with their lunches.

It’s always tricky getting kids to eat fruits and veggies, so how do you encourage your family to eat more nutritious foods? All helpful hints welcome!
