For months I’ve watched my toddler try to keep up with her big sister on her trike. She can’t quite push the pedals even though she can reach them and I’m not sure she could also steer and pedal at the same time. She had a hand me down trike that she decided she would just push around and pretend she was a big girl like her sister.

Until Little Tikes changed all that with the Little Tikes 3-in-1 Trike with DiscoverSounds Dash since Little Tikes was kind enough to send her a new trike we wanted to show off some of our favorite features. I actually discovered a feature that is truly truly useful and genius!

The Little Tikes 3-in-1 Trike is built to move in 3 stages. The first stage has a harness and gray bar that goes around the child. There’s also the detachable dash which includes a steering wheel and makes sounds such as sirens and engine revving. The bar around the child also make me feel more secure about my toddler being in it.There’s also a sunshade that has the ability to move around.

It also comes with a push bar that allows a parent to control the trike. The bar has it’s own bag and get this, cupholder!! Remember that awesome thing that was genius that I mentioned above? Well the push bar also controls where you steer. Push to the right and the trike follows, the same with the left. It makes pushing her so easy that even my tiny 6 year old could do it! I also can appreciate the foot rests for children who can not reach the pedals yet.

For older kiddos remove the push bar and there’s a great trike with large basket on the back for hauling their favorite things around. This trike trying grows with your child and that’s what I love about it. It works just the way I want it to, and has more features than I could imagine. Features that really work for real parents and children. Brooklin loves it!!!

  400. With seven kids it is a long Christmas wish list, but here are a few favorites that they want. Anything Lego’s, Smurfs (which seems odd to me since that is a fad from when I was a kid), Star Wars, Hot Wheels, and GeoTrax. My daughters would love anything that has to do with baby dolls and Twilight. Then we can’t forget Thomas the Train stuff. The list is really endless at this point.
