My Simple To Make Grandma’s Homemade Cheese Ball Recipe

You are here: Home / Fun Foods for Families / My Simple To Make Grandma’s Homemade Cheese Ball Recipe

Fun Foods for Families Lunch box school lunch ideas

In my family the classic cheese ball makes an appearance at every family gathering. We would have one at most family gatherings and was especially popular during the Christmas Holidays. My Grandmother has long been one of the best makers and she finally told me her recipe. With all the entertaining to be had I wanted to share a very simple cheese ball recipe, given to me from my Grandmother.

This simple recipe will save you money from store bought. It is also made with love, fresh, and an easy homemade cheese ball recipe

What You Will Need:

  • Cream Cheese (1 package)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • Steak sauce
  • Almonds

How To Make A Simple Homemade Cheese Ball:

I think my Grandmother’s big secret was adding some steak sauce. I’m not sure how she came up with it or why but it adds just a little flavor so I added one tablespoon. Start with a little and add as needed.

Soften cream cheese at room temperature. Mix cheese.

Mix it all together and create a ball.

Make sure to crush up the cut almonds and roll the ball in the almonds.

I serve it with a good baked pita chip and it perfect for entertaining.

There’s just nothing quite like my Grandma’s homemade cheese ball. Go further and top and roll it in anything you like. You can mix it up with different toppings around the cheese ball.

Make it special and pick toppings that are favorites of guests.
