The Yellow Leaf Cupcake Company – Seattle, WA

Family Travel With Kids

I am quite the cupcake connoisseur. Who really doesn’t love a good cake? So when I hit Google maps for Seattle cupcake companies I am so glad I picked The Yellow Leaf Cupcake Company, granted walking the 15 blocks was well worth it.

Located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, blocks from the Space Needle and Pike Place Market is this sweet little shop. Inside you’ll find a variety of flavors from pancakes and bacon cupcakes, to peanut butter and jelly I’d say my favorite was the green tea and the strawberry banana. The frosting is a sweet yet not-too-sweet Italian Butter Cream with the added fresh ingredients that make the cupcakes original they by far are the most unique cupcakes I’ve ever had. As I like to say it’s totally “Keep Portland Weird” with their daily specials you’ll be sure to have a variety of cupcakes no matter which day you go.

It’s not just about the frosting a good cupcake needs to have perfected the cake and they’ve done that!

Show up early, doors open at 11:00 AM and I say the best ones go first. Fresh made cupcakes daily are hard to come by, especially gourmet ones and these are not too miss. By far one of my favorite cupcakes of all time!

Disclosure: I bought $50 in cupcakes and enjoyed a taste of almost all of them. I think you should, if in the area try The Yellow Leaf. I also think they should ship me some because I’m going to miss them. They are by far one of the best cupcakes I have ever had!

You are so lucky to have a cupcake bakery near you. I’ve been searching and we have NOTHING around here … if I was rich, I’d be starting one up. 🙂
