I know when I became pregnant I immediately started thinking about everything we would need. With our second child I knew exactly what I needed.

10 Items Expecting Moms Should Have:

  • Diapers

  • Stroller
  • Carrier or sling
  • Breast pump
  • Good thermometer and mirror for the car

On the list is one of my favorite items the HALO SleepSack. I discovered them while pregnant with my second and now love the other HALO baby gear. If you are an expecting mom you should have one or two of the sleepsacks.

HALO recently polled their followers on Facebook and came up with this same exact list. I’d also add buy a bottle or two even if you’re pumping you may need them. Baby Center also has some articles that are great for expecting moms. There’s plenty of questions for new moms and more talk about baby gear you can’t live without.

  74. Our swing was our saviour! My daughter refused to sleep in anything BUT her swing from about 6 weeks to 4 months! The motor actually fried during that time and the week it took to send me a new one (Graco was super awesome about it, by the way) was a week of awful sleep :[
    Also, I love the chocolate plush dots sleepsack.

  108. I couldn’t live without our wipes warmer, they warm the wipes perfectly so my son doesn’t get jolted awake at night time changes by a cold wipe. Plus it’s great to make/store cloth wipes.

  179. cant live without the stroller, especially a lightweight, easy to fold one, that just makes traveling, and even taking a walk a million times easier. Mine is a graco that I actually keep sample packs of wipes, diapers, etc in the pockets to make it REALLY grab and go! 🙂 i love the !00% cotton blankies, in that baby yellow….
