I believe in sharing kindness and spreading peace unto the world. It’s so incredible that with technology I can be connected to other people all over the world. See it’s traveling and experience that motivates me and there’s nothing greater than the beauty of earth.

I think the world would be a kinder place if we all began the day in a good mood. That’s what the the Rise&Smile App by Dignity Health is hoping to inspire. Each day you awake to your alarm and wake to messages of kindness from people around the world. Then you can easily submit your own kind video for others. And just like that, you’ve spread some humankindness.

I downloaded the app and easily started creating my own human kindness video. My message a sunshine greeting from sunny Southern California!  Even better the App is free to all and available on any android or iOS mobile device, this app allows you to record a short video, in ‘Vine’ style, wishing someone a good morning. It’s not just about your immediate community; it’s about humanity as a whole, spreading joy to total strangers all over the world.

I think it’s such a fun way to spread kindness and I would easily allow my children to share our own family style Rise&Smile messages. I can’t wait to create a whole collection of videos that also seem to function as a wonderful scrapbook of memories to look back upon.

No matter where you are or where you go if you start your day on a positive note you will be more successful at your goals for the day. You never know how something as simple as a message from around the world can greatly impact your day. So how will you share kindness to others today?
