Disconnect to Reconnect with The Power of Family Meals – Giveaway!

This is a compensated post with J.M. Smucker all opinions are my own.

disconnect to reconnect I am guilty of being on my phone more often than I should. We are a very busy family on the go and you’ll often find me on my email or checkinn in with a social network. My husband has even told me when it starts to become a problem and it easily can become one. When we are connected digitally we aren’t connecting to the people in our lives. My husband likes to make a joke out o it and will often take pictures of me with my face in the phone. (Like this photo of me taking a photo, which is something he often sees.)  It’s a great reminder to spend my time where it’s most important especially during family meals.

For many years now, Smucker’s has promoted the Power of Family Meals, an initiative that emphasizes the benefits of eating together as a family. As part of that initiative, they are launching a movement to Disconnect to Reconnect at the table.

Disconnect to Reconnect is a movement to get families to unplug at the table for at least one meal, once a week, more often than not. It’s something I can easily support and Smucker’s is one of those brands that brings our family together. From weekend breakfast for dinner or a sweet sandwich on a warm day I am proud to support the Power of Family Meals and take the pledge!

I am encouraging you and your families to also take the pledge and Disconnect to Reconnect with your families! To support this pledge I have an exciting giveaway to offer my readers!

You can take the pledge and Disconnect to Reconnect. Be sure to also find the Power of Family Meals on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
