Now that we have two school aged children it is very important that they are doing their very best with their reading and math. It’s also important for my husband and I to start educating our children while they are young so they will be more successful at school.

Over the past few weeks we have been trying out Reading Eggs the website that makes learning to read fun and exciting. With great online games and activities and over 1,000 eBooks all available in one easy to find place online. Developed by parents and educators their core curriculum uses phonics with sight words laying the foundations for successful early reading.

reading eggs game We signed up with a FREE 5 week trial and we started Brooklin and the beginning since she is just starting to learn how to read. Brooklin started preschool this year more interested in learning to read and over the course of the year my goal is to keep encouraging her. Reading Eggs makes reading fun for her but I also know that she’s laying the foundation for successful early reading in Kindergarten.

reggs As a parent I can feel good about Reading Eggs being good for my early reader as well as my older reader. My either year old is an excellent reader but it’s important to brush up on necessary reading and comprehension skills. All for one easy price a month I can ensure my girls are playing exciting new games that are also good for them.

I also really like the ability to log into their account and seeing what challenges and lessons they have completed. Over time I hope to see some great progress, especially by my new reader!
