We just moved from Oregon to California and I will admit some of my reservations about moving were how dirty and different the environment is in California. Some days the smog hangs all around the LA area and well lets just say the water is highly treated. It’s a far cry from the crystal clear waters of Mt. Hood. In many ways I miss Oregon and all the beauty and nature but knowing we can always go back and visit is nice to know.

With the water being less than perfect here in California we filter all of our water. We were sent the Laica Mineral Balance Filtration System and there’s several things I like about the Laica Jug I received the first being the fun color. I naturally picked yellow and just love the color.


The electronic cartridge life indicator makes it easy to see the life of your filer. I also really like how easy it is to fill up this jug. The top opens easily with just the water pressure and seals not allowing any water back out. That was always my biggest pet peeve about water jugs with filters but the Laica so simple and easy to use!

We found our water to be crisp and clear and taste a lot better!
