I absolutely hate popups and popunders … I think the ones I dislike most are the “layover” ads . the ones that sit on top of the content you came to see and you have to click to close them .. sometimes twice! I don’t mind display ads at all (sometimes I even click over, which is the whole purpose of them) and sponsored posts get the word out about a product or event, so I don’t mind them at all. I remember when no one had heard of Soda Stream or Boogie Wipes, but blogs were doing sponsored posts and reviews, and now they’re everywhere!

I hit log on into facebook and it thanked me for comment, but I never even saw where to comment. I like seeing real reviews of products and real experiences. I want to know if something will survive the wrath of a toddler tossing it across the room, stuff like that!

I hate ads that click up and when you click to turn them off they redirect you or ask if you are sure.

I prefer sponsor content a billion times my than pop-ups. Pop-ups are so annoying any slow down and a lot of times freeze up my smartphone.
