Our Family Visit to Knott’s Berry Farm During the Holiday Season!

Family Visit With Kids to Knotts Berry Farm Park (7)

Currently Knott’s Berry Farms has some great deals going on for Knott’s Scary Farm Haunt! There is a lot going on from mazes to scary ghouls be sure to check it out this October!  This is Southern California’s largest, most haunting Halloween experience and is running on select nights September 26 – November 2 2013

Everyone loves to visit their favorite or any major amusement park for that matter! But not all people realize that most parks if not all, bring the holidays to the park during that time of the year creating a whole new experience. He had a chance to visit Knott’s Berry Farm Christmas time and it was fun to see the park changed to reflect the time of years. I think some of the best ways to make memories is spending time together having fun plus we all love to go around and see Christmas lights!

From the holiday holly sashes hung, to the decorating of lights and the giant Christmas tree, its always fun to see all the things decked out in lights compared to Knott’s during the summer times!

We did make the very first ride one that we cold all go on. Its a cute little train that runs around the middle of the park so you can see all the big roller coasters. I thought it was a fun way to show them what this place was about and Brooklin was just amazed!

But what is awesome about Knott’s is all the rides and how so many cater to all age different age groups and ride appeals. There are the littlest cutest rides for the youngest riders, and some great starter roller coasters and then your gigantic 200 plus feet tall monsters roller coasters and then massive Super Scream that takes you 254 feet into the air and then lets you fall!

We decided to avoid the massive rollar coaster Xcelerator and Silver Bullet this time but those are so much fun for adults! But we did take advantage of  some of the awesome family rides which is great that my kids are growing to be trill seekers!

But of course there is more than just lights. Finally the kids are old enough to ride different kinds of rides. This was the girls first time to Knott’s Berry Farm ebcuase last time Brooklin was too small to do anything so we wanted to wait till they were both big enough to ride rides. Brooklin our 4 year old loved it! She liked flying and driving and being a mini-train cart conductor. Its was fun to see all the old buildings and to make a visit through the wild wild west letting them take it all in!

The great thing about visiting Southern California is its geographical location. No matter the year there is always a lot of fun to be had without the weather ruining it completely. We did visit Los Angeles in Southern California during winter and enjoyed sunshine and some nice temperatures which was great for visit places no matter the season. We spent the whole day playing around and checking out rides. We also wanted to check out the Sky Cabin which lets you see the awesome breath takin views with out the rush and is great for kids to get high into the sky slowly.

We also had fun just walking around and being a family together. Amusement parks, especially Knott’s Berry Farm are an awesome place for all ages and has so many rides to experience. Now its time to give Kaila some years to grow to ride the massive roller coasters with her Dad and maybe we could convince Mom to come along this time!!!

Your family is beautiful. I can imagine it was really fun. It is a long way from me sadly, but this is something I would love to do with my family. We only have Cedar Point about 5 hours away from me so we do Halloweekend.
