I decided to try my hand at a chili recipe. I wanted to use fresh ingredients so I did roasted tomatoes myself!

Our Ordinary Chili Recipe 


  • 1 lb roasted tomatoes crushed
  • 1 whole onion chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package of Crock-Pot® Seasoning Mixes – Original Chili
  • 1 1/2 cups kindney beans
  • 1 cup white beans
  • 1 cup pinto beans
  • 1 cup chopped tomato

This recipe is super simple since you are slow cooking the chili. Simply combine, cover and allow to cook all day! It’s simple and delicious!

    I did but I forgot to put an important instruction: ADD WATER. oops.

    Anyway, I would make this Jewish cholent dish that is served usually on the weekends. In fact, I’ll be making one tomorrow.

    I did not enter. But I would like to make something with bacon and chicken. Maybe wrap the chicken with the bacon and add some BBQ sauce. Not really sure. Thanks for the chance!
