Santa is on his way to our house and that means we’re busy preparing to celebrate with our family. This year we have family coming form near and far to our house. On Christmas Eve we will leave out cookies and milk. We love shelf safe milk, I can buy it in bulk and I can get organic milk. It’s great because my kiddos can have organic milk on the go so why not leave some for Santa. My girls think an organic chocolate milk will be the perfect treat for Santa on his sleigh and shelf safe milk is one of those things we always have in our home.
The truth is not just Santa needs more calcium and your kiddos do too. Shelf safe milk is much better for your child than those sugary boxes of juice. Did you know? There are no added preservatives in shelf safe milk. The Tetra packaging has been used since the 1960′s and is a healthy way to preserve foods. That means you can take this milk anywhere and it doesn’t have to be refrigerated as long as the packaging is not opened. As a mom who chooses to feed my family organic foods I can feel good knowing my kids are getting organic milk at school. It’s just another easy way I can keep my girls growing strong and healthy.
We really like taking our shelf safe milk everywhere. I throw some in the car on long car rides so we don’t have to stop for sugary drinks. It’s a nice treat to also give the kids on the ride, it keeps the happy back seaters. It’s great for lunch boxes and if you want to serve it cold simply freeze a box the night before and put it in your kiddos lunch box. Come lunch time it will be nice and cold and easy to drink. It’s an easy way to get good nutrition on the go and we like them.
