VTech Safe & Sound Video & Audio Monitor

We were sent the VTech Safe & Sound color video and audio baby monitor tp try out. It is a straighforward product, mount the camera, charge the reciver unit and its ready to go. The camera provides a full color display and audio, along with a 2 way talking feature and the abiltity to add in more cameras while monitoring them all on a single parent hand held unit. We may have to look into spare cameras.

Having the new baby in the home, it is important that we keep our eye on here always, and the VTech video monitor is great for this.

We prefer to use this unit over others becuase it is so simple, has a great mount system, provides great coverage and great reception since we live in a 2 story home. It has have the 2 way talking feature, infared LED for nigh vision, option for multiple cameras, temperature sensor (important for winter time and summer), and a long range (up to 1,000 feet according to Vtech). And of course the parent unit is portable and holds great battery life which is great for getting things done around the house.

Other options include a low battery alert, polyphonic lullabies, vibration alert built into the parent unit, adjustable sound, ability to zoom in from parent unit, and clear digital sound. You can even set a temperature alert if wanted. It also has 3 language options: English, Spanish and French. I also noticed on the box, Vtech provides 100% recyclable packaging with a non-toxic ink, and the unit itself contains no hazardous substances like lead, mercury, and cadmium. That is always good to know companies are thinking about how to be a little more efficient.

This is a great unit and something to consider if in the market, we are very happy with its ease and clarity.

This looks like a great product to have it has so many functions. Would love to have this now that my grandson is born.
