When expecting a baby many moms think of all the things they will need to buy for baby but what about some items for mom? I have to say a few items are a must have for new moms, breastfeeding bras and camis are a must have even right from the start. As I prepare for our new bundle I’m starting to buy nursing bras and apparel.
I was recently introduced to Leading Lady a premiere intimate apparel company dedicated to creating comfortably functional, remarkably affordable, stylish and easy-to-wear bras, camis and sleepwear. Leading Lady’s comprehensive line of nursing intimates – including their limited edition 100% certified organic line – can be purchased directly on LeadingLady.com.
I was recently sent some organic nursing gear from Leading Lady and can say that I love that they’ve made a commitment to offering 100% organic cotton wear. My favorite item is the organic nursing cami, which I found with breastfeeding that nursing camis are a must have item. Not only does it help me keep my breastfeeding private while in public but also offers extra support.
M favorite features are the easy one hand snap, I also like the slightly offwhite color of the all natural cotton. I usually wear a cami under everything I wear anyway so having a nursing cami not only helps me stay “normal” fashion wise but also comfortable while nursing. For breastfeeding moms Leading Lady has also compiled a number of great online resources. Check out Leading Lady’s Breastfeeding Tips.
Leading Lady has a complete line of organic nursing gear and other intimates. Check out LeadingLady.com for more information.

Being on my 3rd baby I can tell you that there is a lot we can do without…but the one thing I could not do without is my humanity family bed cosleeping pad. I love it and it makes cosleeping wonderful!
Definitely have to have the items necessary for breastfeeding. I’ve have to start to get those, like this cami, bras, breastpump, cream etc.

I definitely feel like mom’s should have a comfy chair to nurse in. I actuality chose a more traditional Lazy Boy. It rocked, swiveled, and of course went back so I could out my feet up. And it is so comfortable!!

A pregnancy pillow, and I’ve been through 1.9 pregnancies and still don’t have one!
You definitely need a support system set up!
Since I have C-sections, I have to have a good nursing pillow to take with me to the hospital. Due in 4 weeks!
I’d say sleepers with zippers for baby…you dont want to be be dealing with snaps & buttons on a wriggling, crying baby at 3am.
