The Arcade Shopping Mall – A Cleveland Landmark Since 1890

So while in Downtown Cleveland, with the freezing cold and completely dry air, my lips were chapped. I tracked down a convenient store and it was located in the bottom floor of The Arcade, one of Cleveland’s most recognized landmarks. This is a historic building around since 1890.

The Arcade is world renowned for his high quality and fine craftsmanship, and was the United States first indoor shopping center. It is a beautiful building in and out, and gives people a good look back into time.

The Arcade includes gift shops, other services, clothing boutiques, a food court and fine dining. Its location is in the center of downtown, across the street from dining on East 4th street and the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument. It is also a few blocks from our DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Cleveland – Lakeside and also a few blocks from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Great Lakes Science Center. It is also down the road from the House of Blue and Pura Vida.

It is a neat place to check out, grab a bite to eat, or maybe some gifts or do some shopping in this historic shopping landmark.
