Know Your Options When It Comes To Mortgage Payments & Foreclosure With Fannie Mae

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fannie Mae for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

With the economy being the way it is I’ve seen many of my neighbors begin to downsize. Families are finding it harder than ever to meet ends meet especially when it comes to their home. The fact is, no family wants to lose their home yet unfortunately I’ve seen neighbors houses sit empty for months. We had a house that just sold that was sitting there for nearly two years!!

I was given a chance to check out a new website by Fannie Mae called Know Your Options by Fannie Mae and I found to be a valuable resource. I’ve seen numerous ads and solicitations for foreclosures and options to get out of your home. What I immediately noticed about the Know Your Opens website was the “beware of Scams” tab that gives homeowners FREE advice on what you should know about foreclosure scams.

There are also some other tabs I wanted to highlight the “options To Leave Your Home” tab is especially useful because it shows you options to avoid foreclosure. Now I know no family in their right mind wants to leave their home and I think Fannie Mae offering FREE help is a valuable resource especially for families who may find themselves in trouble.

I also think the additional resources are helpful from councilors who can help you find a solution and Fannie Mae is actually a company that can help you find that solution.

My husband was looking at Fannie Mae recently as an option for savings accounts. They have much better rates on savings and Cd’s than most banks do. Great Post!, People really do need to know their options when it comes to anything financial.
