Easy Crafts To Add To Your Table For Easter

My mother in law called me last week and asked if we would host this years Easter dinner. Inside, I have secretly  always wanted to host something because growing up my mom was always the hostess and she always had something fun. Many people in our family would say she often went far above and beyond but I think she wanted to make special memories for the whole family, and she did. So when asked if I would host Easter I immediately got started thinking up creative ways to add something to the festivities.

Everyone in our family loves getting pictures so I thought what better way to incorporate Easter than with a cute family photo given to everyone. But I also needed a way to display them so my husband and I came up with this very simple project. You could do these for birthdays, you could hold place cards, and do almost anything!

What I Used:

  • Foam balls (cut in half)
  • Pink & gray spray paint
  • Wire with fabric around it
  • pastel ribbon
  • butterflies
  • hot glue gun & glue

After cutting and painting the foam balls we put the green fabric wire through it, while making the part for the base shaped in a claw. After bending the wire and dabbing glue on the base and a dap on top of the ball, we glued individual butterflies on. The we simply glued the ribbon around the base and will finish it off with a little extra glitter. It’s so simple and so fun and I think a few of these placed around the table will make a nice addition.

I could easily do spooky ones for Halloween, you could totally run with it. And it wasn’t that expensive since I cut the balls in half and didn’t buy but one pack. It was just a test but I’m so glad at how they turned out. I don’t consider myself a crafty person at all, so this is new for me.
